In the previous document,

discovered that the modern source of the word slood comes
from the word flood.
Given the above statement, one would assume that slood would in fact rhyme with flood and thus be pronounced as slud. One would also assume that the pronounciation of slooder would be as slud-der. Please note that this is INCORRECT! Slood rhymes with mood and lewd, thus slooder is pronounced as slewd-der. |
